The faboulous trio
October 21st, 2007 by shinzu
We three in this picture here have had an incredibly long history together. We all actually lived in the same neighborhood as kids, and pretty much grew up together until college where we branched off into our respective directions.
I’ll skip myself since I”m the boring topic, but Joe here (for some reason his name got shortened later through the years), is one of the hardest working, most successful yuppies I know. He actually skipped his senior of college to go straight to pharmacy school, where at some obscenely young age at 23 or 24 he finished his pharmd. I remember during high school he would ALWAYS forget to do his homework assignments and forgot about tests, but apparently those study habits I’m sure have changed since then.
Cuong was a big influence in my life in terms of breaking me away from my parents insanely strong asian death grip upbringing. I remember when I was biking in the neighborhood, my parents didn’t let me cross the street to the other side of the neighborhood because they were afraid I would get run over until Cuong basically was like wtf, just cross it. Ever since high school, he worked for his dad’s market in San Bernardino, where he pretty much in my opinion is the person responsible for that place now. And out of everyone, I bet he makes the most mula, out of all of my friend’s despite not going into some traditional academic discipline.
And to everyone’s entertainment, and not my friend’s permissions, some old pics I dug up.

Old school Cuong
Eventually there will be a topic about Nguyen and gorillas to reminiscence about the past, but I’ll leave that for another time :).
