Came back from Vegas today with my friends from work.. just gotta say i had an awesome time there. We left sorta late so we got there around 12 o’clock. Before going to sleep, everybody wanted me to get buzzed, so we played cards for drinks. For the first half hour I was kicking ass, I didn’t lose a single game. Howeve,r later on, I lost a couple of rounds, and then.. uhh.. afterwards, I lost a LOT in a row (but later i found out doan was cheating!). I couldn’t pronouce shit later that night, words like “alabama” become “alabuma” and “flutie flakes” became “fruiwty fwakes”.
Later, doan SPIKED my water with alki. Everyone got a good kick outa that one, but I’ll get that guy back (if you are reading this doan, ill get my revenge !!).
The next day, we walked to Paris to eat then just walked a little bit around the strip. Gambled, and got ass kicked at blackjack. After everyone felt pretty sorry after getting raped at blackjack at almost all casinos (except hoang, that bastard) we all cashed in 20 bucks of quarters to play guts back in the hotel room at 12:30am. Turns out that we actually got a knock on the door from security that we were being too loud. Damn, I never knew they did that. Later that night, we went back down to the casino to check stuff out. Too my total shock, Ashish, who has keno grand master in his screen name, won 400 bucks!! After going around then coming back, he won another 400! Seeing that totally motivated me to play Keno. Later, I also won 200 bucks too! Then Thang won 200 bucks.
Out of everything I learned from vegas, I have two words of advice.
1) dont trust bottled water that may be spiked from friends
2) black jack blows, play keno.
My friend who won, says he has won 9/10 last times being at Vegas at least 400 bucks. It may seem random, but the payoff is waaay better then blackjack. With Keno, if you hit 5 numbers you can win 400 bucks with 50 cents. There’s no way in hell you can do that in black jack that quickly. However, Keno requires extreme patience and persistence. To say at the least, Im a convertor.
